CNC Machinist
Trillium Professional is hiring for a CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer in Greater Wilmington Area, NC (On-site)!
Schedule is 1st shift, 7am-5pm. Pay rate is $28-45/hour, DOE.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of precision part production, including programming, setup, and operation of high-end CNC mills and lathes. You will collaborate with engineering to optimize setups and ensure the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs (G-code / CAM).
-Set up and operate multi-axis milling and lathe machines.
-Interpret complex blueprints, job travelers, and GD&T requirements.
-Utilize a full suite of precision measuring tools to verify tight tolerances.
-Partner with the team to improve machining processes and reduce cycle times.
State-of-the-Art Facility
-You will have access to a world-class shop floor and a climate-controlled QC lab, including:
-Advanced Machining: 4 & 5-axis Vertical/Horizontal Mills and Multi-axis Turning Centers with live tooling and sub-spindles.
-Precision Fabrication: Fully automated Laser systems, Waterjets, and CNC Routers.
-Quality Control: CMM (DCC), Optical Comparators, and a full complement of high-end thread, ring, and bore gaging.
-Support: High-spec TIG/MIG welding units, automatic surface grinders, and production band saws.

What We’re Looking For
-Experience: 5+ years of CNC machining experience with proven programming proficiency (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
-Technical Skills: Expert understanding of mill/lathe setup and operation; strong grasp of GD&T.
-Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and work occasional Saturdays as production needs require.
