Carpenter Helper

Trillium Construction is seeking Carpenter Helpers for ongoing commercial site work in the Howard County, MD area!

This is a hands-on field support role assisting experienced crews with the installation of playground systems and site amenities on active commercial job sites.

Pay: $25-$28/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 40–50 hours per week
Duration: Long-term, Temp-to-hire

Scope of Work:
• Assist lead installers with commercial playground and site amenity projects
• Support material staging, layout prep, and general site organization
• Help assemble and position structural components under direction of lead carpenters
• Perform basic cutting, drilling, and fastening tasks as directed
• Handle materials, tools, and jobsite cleanup
• Assist with setting borders and basic site preparation work (wood/concrete materials)
• Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work areas
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Requirements:
• Prior construction or general labor experience required
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools in a support capacity
• Physically able to lift, carry, and work on active job sites
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
