Delivery Driver
Trillium Drivers is now hiring an experienced Non-CDL or CDL B Delivery Driver for a full-time opportunity in DeLand, FL. Immediate start available.
Pay rate is up to $24.00 per hour based on experience.
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekends
• Home daily
• Overtime paid after 40 hours worked
Job Duties:
• Operate a 26-foot box truck making local deliveries throughout DeLand and surrounding areas
• Deliver plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other construction-related materials to customer locations and job sites
• Load and unload materials at customer locations and in the warehouse
• Assist with warehouse duties including order picking, receiving, stocking, staging deliveries, and loading trucks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Verify delivery accuracy and complete delivery paperwork as needed
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of recent box truck, straight truck, or CDL delivery experience
• Previous delivery and customer service experience required
• Valid Driver’s License or CDL Class B with a clean MVR
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Current DOT Medical Card preferred (company may assist the right candidate in obtaining one)
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs throughout the day
• Comfortable performing physical labor in both warehouse and delivery environments
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
This is a hands-on position. Candidates must be comfortable spending part of the day driving and part of the day working in the warehouse. Experience delivering building materials, plumbing supplies, HVAC products, electrical supplies, or other construction-related products is highly preferred.
