Electrical Engineer
Trillium is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Indianapolis!
This full-time, direct-hire role puts you in the action—designing electrical systems for high-performance, sustainable buildings and driving projects from concept through construction. You’ll work alongside a sharp, collaborative team of architects, engineers, and technical partners who thrive on smart, future-ready design.
With 3+ years of electrical design experience in K-12, higher ed, healthcare, municipal, or other public-use facilities, you’ll step into a role where your expertise actually moves the work forward. You’ll touch every phase of the project, sharpen your technical depth, and contribute to buildings that make a real impact in the communities they serve.
Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver electrical systems—lighting, lighting controls, power distribution, photovoltaic systems, and fire alarm systems—across a range of building types
• Integrate sustainable, high-performance strategies that improve energy efficiency, resiliency, and long-term system performance
• Contribute to early planning and schematic design, including facility assessments and master planning, with a strong emphasis on code compliance
• Coordinate closely with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, structural, and civil teams to produce fully aligned, constructible designs
• Support construction administration through site visits, RFI responses, submittal reviews, and field coordination
• Produce accurate, buildable Revit construction documents, including calculations and documentation required for code and LEED compliance
Schedule is Monday – Friday / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Salary is $120,000+ Annually DOE.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
• Experience designing electrical systems for K-12, higher education, healthcare, municipal, or other public-use facilities
• Familiarity with sustainability standards; LEED accreditation preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and documentation
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools for reports, coordination, and communication
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
