Trillium Professional has a long term opportunity in Sterling Heights, MI for an Administrative Assistant.

This role is part time averaging 25-30 hours a week. Pay rate is $26/hour.

Will be responsible for administrative functions within the human resource department which may include:
-Processing check requests.
-Booking travel and expense reports.
-Submitting maintenance an facilities requests.
-Processing Material Requisitions.
-Ordering lunches for events.
-Mail distribution and shipping / overnighting items.
-Processing Purchase Card purchases.
-Coordination of HR events when needed.
-Maintaining employee records (physical and electronic as needed) per record retention policies.
-Ordering of office supplies as needed.
-Provides administrative support for various HR activities and projects
-Support other assigned functions and duties.
-Support administrative Talent Acquisition tasks such as Conference -Room booking and scheduling interviews.

Required Qualifications:
-High school diploma
-1-3 minimum years of experience; within Human Resources function preferred.
-Meticulous attention to detail and strong decision making.
-Understanding of Human Resource functions (Benefits, talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations).
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Work well under pressure and ability to set priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines.
-MS Office and related business and communication tools proficient.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Strong sense of accountability and the ability to follow up and follow through required.
-Must handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
-Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
