Civil Superintendent - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking Civil Superintendents near Baton Rouge, LA who are willing to travel, strong communicators, and put safety first. 

Core Competencies
•    Leadership-focused (lead teams vs. micromanage)

•    Communication across corporate, field, and clients 
•    GPS machine control systems (Topcon) 
•    Heavy equipment operations (dozers, excavators, haul trucks) 
•    Sitework, drainage, and aggregate logistics
Professional Experience Highlights
•    Supervise and coordinate all field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe and efficient project execution 
•    Lead project planning, including pre-construction meetings, scheduling, and resource allocation 
•    Manage job-site operations: mobilization, layout, equipment, and daily production 
•    Monitor productivity rates and adjust operations to stay on schedule and within budget 
•    Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies 
•    Maintain material inventory and coordinate timely deliveries to avoid delays 
•    Prepare and submit daily reports including production, weather, QC, and delivery tracking 
•    Collaborate with project managers to resolve design issues and maintain project flow 
•    Conduct weekly performance reviews covering schedule, safety, manpower, and profitability 
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Pay: $42
Per Diem: $110 - $130 / day for days worked
Schedule: 7a to 5p

Qualifications
•    5+ years in a supervisory role in civil construction 
•    Extensive experience in excavation, drainage, and site preparation 
•    Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines 
•    Willingness to travel across regional job sites 
•    Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required screenings
•    Pre-employment screenings
