Local motor shop is looking for an Administrative Assistant in Danville, IL!

This is a contract to hire position and has a starting pay range of $18-$20/hr., depending on experience. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 7am-3:30 pm. Position opening is for administrative, clerical, and support tasks. Candidates are needed for managing communication (phones/emails), data entry, recordkeeping, filing, and greeting visitors.

Key Responsibilities
• Answering phones, taking messages, directing calls, and handling
correspondence.
• Creating spreadsheets, filing, scanning, copying.
• Greeting clients and visitors, waiting on front counter.
• Searching for and ordering parts and other supplies.
• Delivering jobs to customers if needed; running errands if needed.
• Unloading/loading customers with use of forklift and hoists (will be trained).

Job tracking & documentation:
o Intake & logging: recording motor details, taking pictures, documenting incoming conditions and symptoms on job write ups and entering job information to our computer system.
o Work Order Management: Documenting approved work, updating job status, ordering parts, and following up on unapproved jobs.
o Inventory and Procurement:
o Parts Management: Tracking and ordering replacement bearings, seals, and other inventory.
o Stock Tracking: Maintaining inventory of consumables
o Anything else that is needed.
