CNC Programmer
Trillium is seeking a CNC Programmer in Ipswich!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a seasoned CNC Programmer to support a growing manufacturing team producing complex machined parts for aerospace, military, and medical applications. The ideal candidate brings strong MasterCAM experience, deep knowledge of 4- and 5-axis machining, and the ability to develop, update, and troubleshoot programs in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop CNC programs for complex 2D and 3D part geometries
• Create and refine 4 and 5 axis toolpaths using MasterCAM
• Review new work orders and determine programming requirements
• Update and maintain existing programs, setup sheets, and machining documentation
• Produce clear setup instructions to support efficient machine operation
• Troubleshoot program issues directly on the shop floor
• Identify necessary tooling and coordinate requests for specialized tools
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize machining strategies
• Uphold strict safety practices throughout all machining activities
• Perform additional machining-related tasks as needed
Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday – Friday / On-site role. Pay is $100,000 – $150,000 annually DOE.

Skills:
• At least 5 years programming multi-axis CNC equipment with MasterCAM
• Strong background in CNC milling operations
• Solid understanding of tooling, fixturing, materials, and blueprint interpretation
• Experience with high-speed machining techniques
• Strong computer aptitude with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving production environment
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems is beneficial
