Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Journeyman Commercial Pipefitter for a long-term, year-long opportunity in Norfolk, Virginia.

This role offers $53.17 per hour with a standard schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime is expected and available based on project needs.

Job Duties:
The selected candidate will perform commercial mechanical piping work including installation of hangers and supports, bolt-up piping (steel, iron, copper), and working from blueprints and construction drawings in an active jobsite environment. In the early phase of the project, the role will also involve assisting with jobsite layout using a Trimble system (laser-guided layout technology; training provided) to mark locations for hangers, pipe routes, and penetrations. As the project progresses, responsibilities will transition into full-scale installation of pre-fabricated piping systems, setting hangers, making equipment connections, and supporting overall mechanical crew operations.

Qualifications:
-Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Journeyman Commercial Pipefitter
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
-Reliable transportation to and from jobsite
-Strong attendance and dependability
-Team-oriented attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
