Electrician - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Industrial Journeyman Electricians for a project starting May 4th in Fort Wayne, IN.

Electricians will begin in a shop environment building 5 small and 4 large control cabinets, including preparing enclosures (drilling and cutouts), installing DIN rail, terminal blocks, wire duct, and components, mounting electrical components per schematics, installing door-mounted controls, and performing all wiring tasks such as cutting, stripping, routing, terminating, and torquing connections to specifications. Responsibilities also include labeling wires, terminals, and devices per prints, performing continuity testing, and verifying wiring accuracy against schematics.

This project will run approximately 3 weeks in the shop, followed by 5 weeks in Detroit, MI at an automotive facility installing the completed panels as part of a line upgrade across multiple areas, working 5x10s with overtime expected. Pay is $35/hour with $120/day per diem paid all 7 days. Shop hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential for overtime.

-Candidates must have strong experience with industrial control panel building and wiring, be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings and work independently; PLC panel experience is preferred.
-Candidates must supply basic hand tools and wear standard PPE and pass all pre-employment screenings.
