Construction Superintendent

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Construction Superintendent for a contract assignment in Chicago, IL!

The project is expected to last for 3+ months. Pay rate is $50/hour. 

Seeking an experienced Contract Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for a 3+ month assignment in the Chicago area. This role is responsible for driving projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and effective coordination across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work meets design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines
-Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project and Procore
-Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for quality control, safety, and subcontractor management
-Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including scheduling, RFIs, and change orders
-Identify and resolve project risks, bottlenecks, and gaps to avoid delays
-Participate in estimating reviews, scope alignment, and value engineering efforts
-Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and issue resolution
-Continuously improve job site productivity, safety practices, and internal processes

-Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse teams
-Proven ability to manage schedules, solve problems, and drive projects forward
-Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
-Experience seeing projects through from pre-construction to completion
-At least 3+ years in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
