AutoCAD Drafter position available in Eureka, Illinois. Immediate need!
Trillium Staffing is looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to work for a local manufacturing company. The AutoCAD Drafter prepares working plans and detailed drawings from rough sketches and notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes according to dimensional specifications by performing the following duties.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Creating detailed drawings of overhead crane structures and mechanical components, including dimensions, tolerances, and assembly requirements.
• Developing assembly, subassembly, and layout drawings for manufacturing and repair.
• Reviewing engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Calculating dimensions, angles, and material requirements using engineering and mathematical principles.
• Utilizing AutoCAD to create preliminary and final designs.
• Revising and updating drawings based on feedback or project changes.
• Ensuring accuracy and quality of all drawings and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
The AutoCAD Drafter is a full-time, 1st shift position, 7am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. Pay ranges from $26.50 - $30.00/hour. A competitive benefits package if offered upon company hire!

Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in drafting or related field, or drafting certificate, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer required)
• Experience with structural detailing is a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Autodesk Inventor experience or training preferred
