Welder - Per Diem Offered

Trillium is now seeking Welders in the Stonington, CT area!

Trillium is now seeking DOT Certified Welders through the state of Connecticut for work at a new Amtrack being built.

Welders will be structural welding galvanized catenary poles together for installation of the cabling above the amtrack lines. AWS certification through the CT state DOT is required to do any work on DOT and railway jobs.  This job will be specific to this site for about a month.  The same company has 2-3 other sites in the state as well that they can utilize candidates on to keep them busy!  

Most jobs are prevailing wage work!!  This job in Stonington pays welders $71.72/hour, there is also $125/day worked in per diem to those that qualify!!  Work is Mon-Friday with some Saturdays.  40-50 hour weeks to be expected. Candidates will also have to go through Amtrack training prior to starting.  Can start ASAP!!!
