Engineering Technician

Trillium Professional is now seeking an Engineering Technician

Pay is between $31.25 to 37.00/hour. This is a possible contract to hire for the right candidate!

Responsible for designing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development , new and existing products. Assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests, and collects data.

Job Duties:
-Works on Quotes for Sales/CSR, includes new items, revision changes and re-quotes.
-Assists the engineering planning function to create new item masters & update existing configuration management system
-Designs and manufactures prototypes for new products, CIP projects or for existing parts.
-Completing quotes that includes designing new products and finding ways create IP
-Utilizes ERP system (M2M) to create configurations for new/existing products that incorporate the scheduling module.
-Addresses and resolves issues with production processes and/or parts.
-Work with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks.
-Project Management for new development project.

Required Skills
-Able to understand and interpret engineering terminology Intellectual creativity
-Solid customer service (internal and external) and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills
-AutoCAD or Solidworks experience
-Capable of doing independent research
-Read and interpret technical drawings, to perform mathematical calculations for yields and tolerances
-Able to communicate clearly and effectively

Requirements            
-High School, or graduation from a certified technical school.
-3 years minimum in a related field
-Project management experience a plus
