Trillium Staffing has an opening for a Non-Ferrous Buyer / Warehouse Associate in Crawfordsville, IN! Immediate need!

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Non-Ferrous Buyer / Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced scrap processing environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for grading and purchasing non-ferrous materials, working directly with customers, and preparing materials for outbound shipment.
This position is ideal for someone with industry knowledge who enjoys a mix of customer interaction and physical work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Grade and purchase incoming non-ferrous materials from peddlers and industrial accounts.
• Process and prepare materials for outbound shipment.
• Weigh, grade, and maintain inventory of materials ready for shipping.
• Unload incoming materials at docks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
• Complete accurate paperwork regarding material type and condition.
• Perform monthly physical inventory of all non-ferrous materials.
• Support additional duties in a fast-paced environment.

This position is available on 1st shift, 6:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. Overtime may be required. Pay starts at $18/hour. This position is full-time and temp-to-hire.

Qualifications
• Prior experience and knowledge of non-ferrous scrap materials preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors
• Forklift experience required
• Experience with shear, baler, and/or can machines preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly
