Solar Laborer - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now hiring Solar Laborers for work in the Alamogordo, NM area! Per diem available!

Work will take place in a commercial environment, installing solar systems on a metal roof. Work is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Pay is $30/hours, with a days worked per diem of $125/day.

Work will primarily consist of mechanical racking installation and panel placement, with exposure to basic electrical and civil scope as the project progresses.

Key responsibilities include:
-Install solar racking systems, including assembling and securing metal components, clamps, and custom-fabricated railing
-Lay out and position racking and solar panels according to site plans and string line measurements provided by the site lead
-Utilize impact drills, tape measures, and basic hand tools to complete installations efficiently and accurately
-Assist with staging materials and maintaining organized work areas
-Support ground-level work including inverter rack setup, trenching operations, and material handling
-Work alongside equipment operators (mini excavators and trenchers) and maintain safe distances during operation
-Follow all site safety requirements, including proper PPE usage
-Collaborate with electricians and other trades as they mobilize onto the project
