Tank Welder - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking Tank Welders near Brewton, AL.

Key Responsibilities
•    Perform flux core welding (FCAW) in 2G (horizontal), 3G (vertical), and 4G (overhead) positions on tanks and related structures
•    Execute tank repairs, including patching, seam welding, and structural reinforcement
•    Weld on carbon steel and stainless steel tanks used in pulp and paper processing
•    Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures (WPS), and repair drawings
•    Conduct surface prep including grinding, beveling, and cleaning prior to welding
•    Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance with codes
•    Work in confined spaces, elevated platforms, and industrial environments
•    Collaborate with maintenance crews, millwrights, and supervisors to complete repairs efficiently
•    Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) and plant-specific safety procedures

Pay: Up to $35
Per Diem: $115 / day for all 7 days
Schedule: Mon - Sun, 80h+ / week

Qualifications
•    Current FCAW certifications in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions 
•    Proven experience in tank welding, vessel repair, or heavy industrial welding
•    Ability to pass site-specific safety orientation and drug screening
•    Experience working in paper mills, refineries, or industrial plants preferred
•    Proficient in reading isometric drawings and weld symbols
•    Pass pre-employment screenings
