Assembly Technician

Trillium Staffing is now hiring Assembly Technicians!

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and installing a variety of signage components with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires solid experience with hand and power tools, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly. The technician plays a key role in ensuring quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Job Duties:
-Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals for assembly or construction tasks.
-Install piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components using hand tools or rivet guns.
-Operate metalworking machines such as milling or grinding machines to fabricate parts.
-Assemble and install electrical, LED, and other signage components.
-Utilize hand and power tools to secure parts and attach functional or cosmetic hardware.
-Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED required.
-Experience with operating various hand tools.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Skills:
-Proficient in reading and using a tape measure accurately.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
-Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high level of integrity.
-Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Working Conditons:
-You will be required to wear safety glasses at all times and often required to wear cut resistant gloves and hearing protection.
-Repetitive motions may be required.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
-Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts.
-Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat, humidity, and cold in an open shop environment.
-Ability to stand for extended periods.
-Exposure to high noise levels; hearing protection may be required.
