Engineering Manager
Great direct hire Engineering Manager opening for this established Delaware, Ohio company!
Manufacturing Engineer Manager will work in a hands-on to oversee and direct activities and development of Engineers and Manufacturing Process. This will include leading R& D projects to produce new designs, products and processes, managing staff and assigning tasks to engineers and technical personnel, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodology and facilitating Kaizen events, create project budgets, perform root cause analysis and similar duties.
This position is direct hire and have a salary of $100k-$130k annually with bonus and benefits.
This is primarily a 1st shift position but will require work on other shifts as needed - this is a 24/7 facility.
To be successful in this role, the Engineering Manager will have:
-Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineer or similar
-2 yrs experience in an engineering management/leadership role in manufacturing
-Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
-Automotive manufacturing experience a plus but nor required
-IATF16949 is a plus but not required
