CNC Operator

Trillium Staffing is seeking a CNC Setup Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Kiel, WI.

Schedule is 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Pay rate is $24.00 – $30.00/hour

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
-Setting up CNC machines and tooling for production runs
-Running parts and making real-time adjustments as needed
-Reading blueprints and turning them into finished product
-Inspecting parts to make sure they meet spec
-Catching issues early and keeping production on track
-Handling basic machine maintenance and upkeep
-Keeping your workspace clean, organized, and efficient
-Supporting and training team members when needed

The Environment
-You’ll be working in a manufacturing setting where things move - machines running, parts flowing, team working together. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and built for someone who likes staying busy.
-Exposure to dust, fumes, and typical shop conditions
-Heated and ventilated production floor
-Working around moving machinery and equipment
-Physical Side of the Role
-Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
-Stand, move, bend, and stay active throughout the shift
-Use hands for detailed machine work and inspections
-Wear standard PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toes)

What You Bring
-2–5 years of experience as a CNC Setup Operator or similar role
-Ability to read and understand blueprints
-Strong mechanical mindset - you know how things work
-Solid attention to detail (you catch what others miss)
-Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
-Comfortable using a computer for tracking and documentation
