Millwright Helper

Trillium Construction is looking for Millwright Helpers to help JM Millwrights install robotic equipment in distribution centers. This job is in Suffolk, VA for 6 weeks starting 4/20. Perfect for early Millwrights wanting to learn!

Pay rate: up to $24/hour DOE. Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours a week. Candidates must be local; no per diem is offered for this position.

NO FELONIES IN LAST 7 YEARS
 
The candidate should be a self-starter that can handle multiple tasks in parallel and show the ability to continually advance your knowledge to drive process improvement for future installations. The candidate should have the ability to quickly read and absorb installation documentation to accurately repeat tasks themselves in addition to leading others.

Job duties include:
-Drill and anchor equipment to floors
-Manage relationships within internal teams as well as client contacts
-Teach process to others and lead them to complete tasks
-Travel will be 80-100% with the option to travel home every 2-3 weeks

Qualifications:
-Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
-Experience supporting installation of construction materials or other hardware
-Robust knowledge of power and hand tools, including socket wrenches, screwdrivers, battery operated drills and impact drivers
-Ability to read a tape measure
-Valid driver’s license
-Must have problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
-No felonies in the last seven years
-Background in construction, warehousing, or equipment installation is highly beneficial
-Experience reading CAD drawings is ideal
-Forklift and Aerial lift certifications a plus
