Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is seeking an experienced Class A Yard Jockey for Night Shift in Hamilton, OH!

Pay: $300/day
Hours: 2 PM – 2 AM, Monday – Friday
Job Summary:
The Yard Jockey (also known as a Spotter or Yard Mule Driver) is responsible for the efficient movement and organization of trailers within the facility yard and at the cross-dock. This is a fast-paced role essential to keeping our logistics operations running smoothly through the night.

Key Responsibilities:
-Maneuver Trailers: Safely move 53-foot trailers in and out of dock doors and drop lots using a terminal tractor (yard dog).
-Spotting & Staging: Precisely position equipment for cleaning, loading, unloading, or staging as directed by warehouse management.
-Inventory & Checks: Perform regular yard checks to maintain accurate trailer location tracking and monitor equipment inventory.
-Safety Inspections: Conduct daily safety inspections of the yard truck and report any maintenance needs or trailer damage to management.
-Communication: Maintain continuous contact with the warehouse and dispatch via two-way radio to coordinate trailer moves and prevent yard congestion.

Qualifications:
-Valid CDL Class A Driver’s license.
-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.
-Clean MVR.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and background check.
