Fire Alarm Technician

Trillium Construction is seeking qualified Fire Alarm Technicians to assist with the replacement of fire alarm systems within a secure correctional facility in Jefferson City and Licking, Missouri. 

Pay rate is $26-30 per hour DOE. Schedule is 40 hours a week, M-F. Project is 4 months but could lead to further projects thereafter. 

Key Responsibilities:
-Remove and replace existing fire alarm panels, devices, wiring and switches
-Install and program new fire alarm systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes
-Perform testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning of systems
-Coordinate work within a secure, controlled environment while adhering to all facility rules and safety protocols

Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years experience with fire alarm installation, low volt or commercial/industrial electric.
-Ability to pass background checks required for working in a correctional facility
-Ability to work effectively within strict security procedures and schedules

Additional Details:
-Work will be performed in an active correctional facility, requiring compliance with all security regulations
-Tools, materials, and movement within the facility may be restricted and coordinated in advance
-Professional conduct and reliability are essential
