Pipe Welder

Trillium Construction is seeking Pipe Welders local to Savannah, GA for long-term industrial work!

Project Details:
-Starts ASAP
-Long-term (4-6 months, potentially TTH)
-Pay: $36/hr - No per diem

Schedule:
-Working 5x10s or 5x12s to start (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM roughly)
-Some weeks may require 7x12s
-Overtime available

Scope of Work:
-Welding stainless steel (3” SCH 40) and carbon steel (3” SCH 80) piping in plant/industrial environments
-Producing high-quality TIG welds (x-ray quality)
-Weld test required - candidates will be expected to produce TIG welds on carbon and stainless steel piping that meet x-ray quality standards
-Reading and working from isometric drawings (ISOs)
-Preparing pipe for welding and working alongside pipefitters
-Performing take-offs, field measurements, and aligning pipe systems

Requirements:
-2+ years of industrial pipe welding experience
-TIG experience required
-Ability to produce welds meeting x-ray quality standards
-Experience reading and interpreting isometric drawings
-OSHA 10 certification required
-Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
