Shipping Clerk
Order Entry & Logistics Coordinator / Shipping Clerk position available in the Milford, Michigan area working at our client location who is a family-owned manufacturing company.
This is a contract to hire opportunity with a pay range of $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. M-F.
Seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage order entry and customer-directed logistics. This role is responsible for processing orders in the Infor ERP system, coordinating shipping based on customer requirements, and ensuring accurate, on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities for the Order Entry & Logistics Coordinator role:
-Enter and manage customer orders in Infor ERP; verify accuracy, pricing, and delivery details
-Communicate order status and resolve discrepancies with customers and internal teams
-Coordinate shipments based on customer routing instructions and schedules
-Prepare shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, labels) and track shipments
-Work with shipping and production teams to ensure orders are packaged, staged, and shipped correctly
-Manage customer portals for scheduling, updates, and documentation compliance
-Maintain accurate records and support invoicing and order close-out

Qualifications for the Order Entry & Logistics Coordinator role:
-2+ years of experience in order entry, logistics, or customer service (manufacturing preferred)
-Experience with Infor ERP (XA/Powerlink or similar) preferred
-Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Long term, stable work history
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
Preferred
-Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
-Familiarity with EDI, customer routing guides, and shipping documentation
