Trillium has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician Helper in Columbus!

We are looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Apprentice-level Maintenance Technician Helper. If you have a passion for “how things work” and want to get paid while you master a specialized skill set, this is the perfect starting point.

This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is designed for someone who wants to bridge the gap between basic mechanical knowledge and expert-level technician status. You will work side by side with our Lead Maintenance Technician, serving as their right hand while learning the ropes of industrial machinery, electrical systems, and facility maintenance.

Your Path to Mastery (Key Responsibilities):
-Hands-on Mentorship: Observe and assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on sophisticated industrial machinery and facility equipment.
-Systems Installation: Observe how to install wiring and learn how to bend and cut conduit, gaining a fundamental understanding of industrial electrical layouts.
-Diagnostic Training: Learn to identify and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions (motors, transformers, lighting) and mechanical failures.
-Technical Repairs: Assist in repairing or replacing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components under expert guidance.
-Blueprint Literacy: Learn to read technical blueprints and use precision testing and measuring equipment.
-Safety First: Maintain a pristine work environment and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Schedule is 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Pay rate is $25.00+ per hour, depending on the experience.

What You Bring to the Team:
-Education: High School diploma or GED.
-Aptitude: Strong mechanical inclination and comfort using hand and power tools.
-Communication: Ability to read and interpret technical documents is a major plus.
-Basics: Solid math and reasoning skills.
-Physicality: Ability to lift over 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
