Electrician - Per Diem Offered

We are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians for a long-term construction project in Amarillo, TX.

This project offers approximately 18 months of steady work for qualified candidates. Work is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Pay is $43/hour with a per diem of $100/day worked.

Requirements:
-Minimum 8+ years of commercial electrical experience
-Must possess a valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Apprentice Card
-Journeyman-level skills and experience on commercial construction projects
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Must be able to take daily work assignments and complete tasks without constant oversight
-Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Required Commercial Electrical Skills:
-Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
-Installing EMT, RMC, PVC, and other raceway systems
-Conduit bending using hand and power benders
-Pulling and terminating wire and cable
-Installing electrical panels, switchgear, transformers, and distribution equipment
-Installing lighting systems and lighting controls
-Installing receptacles, switches, and branch circuits
-Running underground and above-ground electrical systems
-Performing equipment rough-in and final trim work
-Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements
-Troubleshooting electrical systems and identifying issues
-Working safely around energized and de-energized systems
-Experience with commercial construction environments and jobsite safety requirements
