Welder

Trillium Staffing is now seeking Welder/Fitters in Houston, TX!

Schedule is Monday-Friday with a 6am start time, currently working 10 hour days, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday OT. Pay rate is $25-$30/hr, depending on experience. Candidates will be welding/fitting on large parts in an industrial setting that builds large custom machinery.

Key Responsibilities
-Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
-Measure, cut, and align metal components to prepare them for welding.
-Fit and assemble structural steel, pipe, or metal components according to specifications.
-Perform Flux Core welding on carbon steel.
-Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards.
-Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, torches, and cutting tools.
-Operate cranes and forklifts.
