Excavator Operator

Trillium Construction is hiring experienced Excavator Operators with a strong background in trenching, benching, sloping, and electrical work support for a project in Crowley, TX.

Qualified candidates should have extensive hours on midsized machines, and a proven record of working safely and efficiently in excavation and trenching operations up to 20 feet deep. Current project is scheduled for 6 months, working 40 hrs./week, Monday- Friday. Pay is $28.00/hr. no per-diem is currently available.

•  5+ years’ experience operating Midsized Excavators for new construction work: specific experience in Electrical preferred
•   Proven competence in trenching, benching, and sloping for utility and electrical installations.
•   Minimum OSHA-10 certification required: Spotter Training, Fall Protection, NFPA 70E, and LOTO Certifications strongly preferred- or have ability to obtain training/certificates.
•    Familiarity with trenching safety standards, egress requirements, and ditch box setup.
•   Knowledge of site layouts, grading, and extensive comprehension of prints
•   Verifiable Work History & References
•   Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
•   Experience working around, and new installation of underground electrical utilities.
•   Ability to pass pre-employment screening and background checks
