ITS Regulatory Application Analyst

Trillium Professional is now seeking an ITS Regulatory Application Analyst!

The analyst is part of a team that supports system configuration, build, and workflows needed to maintain regulatory compliance. Key activities include:
-Provide regulatory subject matter expertise and act as an internal consultant on assigned work.
-Manage large multi-disciplinary regulatory projects.
-Analyze workflows and understand policies, procedures, and constraints of the clinical or business operations related to regulatory requirements.
-Conduct in-depth and precise investigations and documentation of operational & report specifications.
-Analyze new application releases to determine regulatory build and reporting needs.
-As requested, evaluate new applications and make recommendations to management.
-Act as a mentor to new and less experienced application analysts.
-Track, read and analyze new rulemaking and annual updates to existing regulations.
-Maintain Epic certifications.
-Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.

-Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-At least one Epic clinical application certification is required (either inpatient or ambulatory applications), certification in both inpatient and ambulatory is preferred Certification(s):
-Epic Inpatient / EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation (preferred)
-Epic Reporting Workbench (preferred)
-Upon hire, additional certifications may be required.
-3+ years as a clinical/business analyst or project manager in a healthcare setting required, preferably in an academic medical center environment
-Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills. -Strong software and application knowledge required, with base -knowledge of relevant technologies preferred.
-Knowledge of the assigned business area’s products and processes.
-Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that is understandable to the business.
-Understanding of project management concepts in planning and implementing multiple projects in a cross functional environment.
-Strong written communication skills, including project documentation and technical writing.
-Strong verbal communication skills while interacting with team members, other teams in the IT department, end users, and/or other departments throughout the organization
-Strong analytical and conceptual skills; a demonstrated track record in new concept development for various projects and complex technical plans.
-Ability to solve problems often spanning multiple environments in a business area.
-Understanding of how IT affects an organization and ability to link it to redesigned business process
-Ability to be a team player; flexible, friendly, congenial, and enthusiastic.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Additional experience desired:
-Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is desirable, involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change.
-Experience in the strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business.
-Experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
-Knowledge of clinical quality measures and other healthcare regulations impacting reimbursement data standards is a plus.
