Senior Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Senior Project Manager in Manhattan, NY!

Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 (depending on experience). Work Authorization: Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee a large-scale construction project in Manhattan, NY. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of the project from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery related to scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

This role will coordinate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders while providing leadership to project management and field teams.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
-Lead all phases of construction from preconstruction through project closeout
-Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
-Ensure project delivery aligns with contract requirements, building codes, and quality standards
-Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
-Support field teams and site leadership to resolve issues quickly and maintain project momentum

Financial & Schedule Management
-Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
-Track and manage change orders, cost reporting, and risk mitigation strategies
-Maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
-Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to maintain schedule and budget targets

Stakeholder & Client Management
-Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and clients
-Maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and trade partners
-Lead project meetings, status updates, and progress reviews
-Prepare and present project performance reports and documentation

Team Leadership
-Provide leadership and guidance to project managers, engineers, and field personnel
-Mentor and support junior project staff
-Foster a collaborative and safety-focused jobsite culture

Safety & Quality
-Promote and enforce project safety policies and OSHA standards
-Conduct regular site visits and participate in safety and quality audits
-Ensure construction work meets project specifications, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
-8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management
-Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, residential, or institutional construction projects
-Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, cost control, and safety regulations
-Experience with construction management software and scheduling tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD
-Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
-PMP certification preferred
-OSHA 30 certification preferred
