Quality Supervisor

Experienced Quality Supervisor needed for a direct hire position near Alpena!

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the quality department, overseeing several team members.
-Develop and implement quality assurance goals, standards, and methods to ensure compliance with industry requirements.
-Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to maintain product quality and consistency.
-Ensure incoming materials meet companies’ standards.
-Drive permanent corrective actions throughout the facility with data supported facts.
-Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to address quality issues and customer complaints.
-Promote lean manufacturing and six sigma principles to enhance efficiency and innovation.
-Oversee gage calibration and testing programs.

This is a direct-hire opportunity. The schedule is 1st shift 7am-3:30pm. The annual salary is paying $60k-$70k/year.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in quality management.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Quality Supervisor.
-Familiarity with ISO requirements for automotive and non-automotive industries.
-Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and ERP systems.
-Black Belt training is highly desired.
