Buyer
Established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Buyer for an immediate Direct Hire opening in Grand Prairie, TX!
The Buyer will utilize supply and demand planning and inventory management in manufacturing and will have the following responsibilities:
-Analyze and manager lead times to support production scheduling
-Proactively balance inventory
-Actively engage with suppliers to including negotiating terms, delivery and payment terms
-Maintain supplier scorecards
-Lead cost-savings initiatives around key categories
-Work with Operations & Production
Annual salary will be $60-$70,000 depending on experience. Full benefits package included with medical, dental, vision, retirement savings with company match, paid time off and holiday pay, employee assistance programs, associate discounts, and much more!
This position will be working in-office from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

To be successful in this role, the Buyer will have:
-Experience as a Buyer or Purchasing Specialist in a manufacturing setting
-Proven Inventory management experience
-Previous Supplier management including negotiation
-Background in proactive procurement versus reactive
