Quality Inspector

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a part-time Quality Inspector for a position in Hendersonville, TN starting ASAP!

This a temp-to-hire opportunity and the pay rate is $21/hour.

Schedule:
• 1st Shift – 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• One day per week - Wednesdays 
• Additional hours may be available depending on production needs

Job Summary
- Quality Inspectors will work on-site at a customer location assisting with product quality verification.
- The primary responsibility is inspecting lawnmower spindle components to ensure they meet established quality standards.

Inspectors will:
- Examine parts for defects, dimensional accuracy, and functional quality
- Compare parts against provided standards
- Use basic measurement tools when required
- Record inspection results accurately
- This role is focused on quality assurance, not production quotas or assembly work.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and functional inspections of manufactured parts
- Use measurement tools such as tape measures, and preferably calipers or micrometers
- Identify acceptable vs. non-acceptable product features
- Record results as good, repaired, or rejected as instructed
- Enter inspection data into the designated tracking system (“Dot”)
- Follow provided work instructions and quality workflow processes
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members
- Maintain tools and equipment assigned to the job
- Follow all site safety and workplace guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to consistently identify defects across large volumes of inspections
- Basic math and measurement knowledge
- Min. 6 months in quality inspection role 
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds periodically

Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or production environments
- Use of precision measurement tools
