Forklift Mechanic

Immediate Direct Hire opening for a Forklift Mechanic in the Appleton, WI area!

Diesel, Automotive, or Industrial Maintenance professionals with a strong mechanical/electrical background are encouraged to apply!

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic for a Direct Hire role due to a retirement.  The company has excellent retention so looking for someone to add to their team long-term.  The Forklift Mechanic will be working on forklifts, scissor lifts, floor scrubbers, and other material handling equipment as required.  This is a local field service role; the Forklift Mechanic will be heavily involved in customer interaction and will need to represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner.  Our client is seeking a candidate who can add great value to their established team and help continue to grow their presence as a local industry leader!

This is a full-time opportunity with a well-established, family-owned company in the Appleton area.  The standard working hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm, no nights or weekend!  The starting wage ranges based on experience level, $30-40/hour.

Qualifications:
-Technical Diploma preferred but would consider adequate experience.
-3-5+ years of forklift mechanic or 5+ years of diesel, automotive or industrial maintenance experience.
-Must have basic set of tools.
-Excellent customer service skills. 
-Valid driver’s license with a good record.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
