Quality Control Technician

Trillium staffing is seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Quality Control Technician.

Job Duties:
-Works with members of the quality team to help ensure processes and procedures are ISO 9001:2015 compliant and compliant with any other standards that may apply to perform injection molding part inspection
-Responsible for verifying first piece and end of run part samples from the injection molding presses
-Conduct gaging and physical measurements utilizing, calipers, micrometers, Micro-Vu, optical comparator and other measuring techniques
-Identify dimensional and visual defects using a quality standard checklist
-Record results
-Approve and reject parts based on test results and standards·—Coordinate with plant manager and quality manager in effort to resolve root cause for part reject
-Complete and maintain records
-Inspect finished parts and conduct dock audits as specified in procedures
