CAD Operator

Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity in Troy, MI for a CAD Operator. 

Seeking candidates with a basic background in 3D building modeling and 2D AutoCAD designs to add to their team.

Responsibilities
• The position entails drafting and design opportunities on Telecommunication and Security projects that include Building Information Modeling (BIM), physical layout drawings, installation details and wiring diagrams.
• Revise designs per mark-ups, redlines or review comments and communicate with Project Managers / Engineers as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and CAD Operations team members on larger scale, more challenging projects.
• Open to learn and complete tasks related to job or assignment.

• 1 to 3 years (educational/professional) experience with REVIT. AutoCAD experience is also preferred in addition to REVIT, but not necessary.
• Must feel comfortable using Computer Aided Design Software exclusively (all day).
• The candidate must have good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with other team members.
• Must be organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be disciplined and self-governing if remote work environment is necessary.
• Ability to comprehend company drafting standards and apply them daily.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), PDF software, and Google Earth (highly recommended).
• Associates degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree).
• Ability to read Construction Documents, or a willingness to learn how to read them.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is beneficial.
• Good background in mathematics is helpful.
