Senior Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Senior Project Manager for direct-hire placement!

Annual salary is $120,000 – $140,000/year.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing multimillion-dollar projects, mentoring project teams, and driving operational excellence while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong financial management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven ability to manage large-scale construction operations while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
-Lead multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
-Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
-Oversee subcontractor selection, negotiation, and performance management.
-Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
-Proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting schedule or budget.

Financial Management
-Maintain full financial responsibility for assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
-Manage project P&L performance and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
-Review and approve change orders, subcontract agreements, and pay applications.
-Drive profitability while maintaining client satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Team & Client Management
-Mentor and develop Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
-Lead project meetings and provide clear communication on schedule, budget, and progress.
-Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment.

Preconstruction & Planning
-Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams during budgeting and bid phases.
-Provide constructability reviews and value engineering recommendations.
-Align project execution plans with operational capacity and resource availability.

Safety & Compliance
-Promote and enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies.
-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations.

Qualifications
-Minimum 7–10 years of commercial construction project management experience.
-Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar projects from start to finish.
-Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and contract management.
-Demonstrated leadership experience supervising project teams.
-Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
