Vehicle Systems Engineer
Trillium Professional has a long term opportunity in Sterling Heights, MI for a Vehicle Systems Engineer.
Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
-Developing systems & subsystem level requirements, including decomposition and traceability
-Ability to accurately capture and review connectivity diagrams at a system/subsystem level in various tools (MBSE and/or electrical design capture)
-Ability to describe platform behaviors using various SysML diagrams
-Understanding and development of vehicle & subsystem-level integration and test plans
-Integration of various components into existing and established vehicle architectures
-In-lab and/or on-vehicle testing and integration of solutions and verification of system performance
Schedule is M-F from 7:30 AM-4:30PM with occasional overtime. This is a long-term opportunity! Pay rate is $42/hour. Apply now!
Position Requirements:
-Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Control Systems, Software, or related engineering field. Other technical degrees will be considered with related experience.
-1-3 years of engineering experience
-Broad based knowledge of systems engineering along with other technical engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
-Specific experience with one of the following more-specialized areas of architecture is highly desired:
-Mobility systems (engine and transmission, drive-by-wire, vehicle electronics interfacing, CAN communications, etc.)
-Vehicle electronics systems (including schematic development, data networking, etc.)
-Video systems (i.e., camera, processing, display, etc.)
-Proven and demonstrated experience with MBSE and associated tools, specifically CAMEO
