Senior Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Senior Project Manager in Milwaukee, WI (Travel throughout Wisconsin as required)!

Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience).

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-profile construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a proven construction leader who thrives on accountability, drives profitability, and mentors the next generation of project teams.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will maintain full ownership of assigned projects while collaborating across departments to ensure operational excellence, safety compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
-Maintain full responsibility for the successful, safe, and profitable completion of assigned projects.
-Oversee adherence to OSHA standards and company safety policies across all project phases.
-Plan, coordinate, and manage project execution to ensure timely delivery and high ethical standards.
-Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules in partnership with the Superintendent.
-Ensure overall project quality by verifying compliance with plans and specifications, proactively identifying risks, and implementing solutions.
-Review and approve shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and other submittals.
-Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, approvals, and financial reporting.
-Proactively mitigate risks to prevent avoidable penalties, citations, or fines.
-Lead, mentor, and develop Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members.
-Interdepartmental Collaboration
-Partner with Estimating during bidding by reviewing plans, identifying subcontractors, and participating in RFPs and interviews.
-Work closely with Superintendents to align field operations with project schedules and milestones.
-Coordinate with Accounting and administrative teams to manage cost controls, approve invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
-Collaborate with Safety teams to maintain compliance through inspections and documentation.
-Engage with executive leadership and business development teams to strengthen client relationships and identify future opportunities.

Education & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
-10+ years of experience in a Project Management role with a Construction Manager or General Contractor.
-Demonstrated success managing large-scale commercial projects and multiple project teams simultaneously.

Qualifications
-Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and performance.
-Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar projects from $10M to $30M+ (or larger).
-Advanced understanding of construction documents, cost controls, scheduling, and contract administration.
-Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Viewpoint, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
-Ability to travel to project sites throughout Wisconsin as needed.
