Forklift Operator

Now hiring a Forklift Operator in Columbus, Ohio!

This laid back, small warehouse on the Northside is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for contract to hire opening!

The forklift driver will operate a sit-down forklift to pick orders and loads. The Forklift Operator will load and unload trucks, and assist customers with their orders. The Product is large and on 8 ft. pallets. Forklift driver will be responsible for picking orders safely and carefully so as not to damage product and be as efficient as possible. Forklift Driver will perform shipping and receiving duties (banding, wrapping, etc.) while off the forklift. You will be on the forklift about 30% of the time. 

Schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday -no overtime! Pay will be between $18-$20/hr depending on experience with frequent raises as you are trained in different tasks. This is a heated warehouse in the winter and you can wear shorts in the summer!

To be successful in this role, the forklift driver will have:
-2+ yrs experience driving a sit-down forklift
-2+ yrs experience order picking from racking
-Shipping and receiving experience
-History of great attendence
-Basic computer abilities
