Safety Manager - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Safety Manager / Safety Representative in Waggaman, LA!

Work starts on March 2, 2026 and will go for 45–60 Days. Schedule is Monday–Sunday | Rolling 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM), day and night shift is available. Pay rate is $40–$45/hour (DOE). Per Diem & Travel Pay : $150/day (7 Days/Week).

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager / Safety Representative / Safety Coordinator to support a short-term industrial project. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with site safety standards, OSHA regulations, and client requirements in a high-security, zero-tolerance environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong field safety experience, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
-Enforce all site safety policies, OSHA standards, and client requirements
-Conduct daily safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses (JHAs)
-Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
-Monitor workforce compliance with PPE and FRC requirements
-Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety violations
-Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports
-Coordinate with site management, foremen, and supervisors
-Ensure compliance with substance abuse and testing policies
-Promote a strong safety culture across all crews
-Support site access and security protocols

Schedule & Work Environment
-Rolling 12-hour shifts (6 AM–6 PM / 6 PM–6 AM)
-Monday through Sunday coverage
-High-security, industrial site
-Foot-traffic only facility (extensive walking required)

Compensation & Benefits
-Hourly Rate: $40–$45 (Depending on Experience)
-Per Diem: $150/day (Paid All 7 Days)
-Mileage Reimbursement: Up to 821 Miles @ $0.60/Mile
-Paid Travel Time (Up to 14 Hours at Straight Time)

Required Qualifications
-Valid TWIC Card (100% Required – No Exceptions)
-OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
-CPR & First Aid Certification
-Experience as Safety Manager, Safety Coordinator, Safety Rep, or Foreman with safety oversight
-Industrial/plant or heavy construction experience preferred
-Must be DISA-compliant (Green Status Required)
-Must meet site grooming and PPE standards (Clean Shaven / FRC Compliance)
-Testing & Compliance Requirements
-Hair Follicle Drug Test
-Pre-Employment and Random Drug Testing
-Daily Breathalyzer Testing (Zero Tolerance Policy)
-Full compliance with all site OSHA and safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)
-Additional safety certifications (CSP, CHST, SSHO, etc.)
-Strong reporting and documentation skills
-Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced environment
