Controller

Controller position available in the Indiana area working at our client location who is a leading manufacturer.

Salary range is $90k to $95k. Will oversee all financial operations and provide financial leadership in a growing manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate reporting, effective cost controls, and actionable financial insights to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities for the Controller position:
-Oversee financial operations including GL, AR/AP, payroll, banking, and inventory
-Manage month-end/year-end close and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
-Prepare and present monthly financial statements and management reports
-Lead budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis
-Manage job costing, inventory accounting, and profitability analysis using ERP systems
-Identify and implement process improvements
-Lead inventory audits and support capital expenditure planning

Schedule is Monday through Friday position, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Client company benefits available.

Qualifications for the Controller position:
-B.S. in Accounting or Finance (required); CPA preferred
-5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
-Strong ERP and manufacturing job cost accounting experience
-Advanced Excel skills
-Manufacturing experience preferred
-Must be able to work onsite
