Production Planner
A growing CNC machining company in De Pere, WI is looking to add a Production Planner / Estimator to work closely with leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Production Planner / Estimator is ideal for someone who values stability, accountability, and long-term fit, and enjoys wearing multiple hats within a smaller, team-oriented operation.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
-The Production Planner / Estimator will develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
-Coordinate with CNC machinists, supervisors, and department leaders to meet delivery commitments
-Monitor work orders and adapt schedules to changing priorities or urgent requests
-Balance labor, machine capacity, tooling, and setup times to minimize downtime
Estimating & Order Entry
-Create customer estimates using the ERP system
-Enter and manage new purchase orders
Workflow & Resource Coordination
-Maximize machine utilization while reducing idle time
-Align schedules with maintenance, tooling changes, and setup requirements
-Track raw material and tooling usage to prevent shortages
Inventory Management
-Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, tooling, and finished goods
-Assist with safety stock planning and inventory control initiatives
Data & Reporting
-Maintain accurate production and scheduling data within ERP and shop floor systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-Partner with sales, engineering, and purchasing teams to align production with customer requirements
-Participate in planning meetings to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
Continuous Improvement
-Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reduce lead times, and increase productivity
-Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule is 1st Shift | M-F 7 AM - 3PM | Flexible Start Time. Pay rate is $30–$36/hr.

Required Qualifications
-2–3+ years of experience in production planning, estimating, or scheduling within a CNC machining environment
-Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and setup times
-Experience with ERP/MRP systems
-Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming principles
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
-Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Clear, confident communicator across departments
-Flexible, humble, and willing to learn multiple roles
-Experience running CNC Machining
-Steel-Toe boots
