Trillium Staffing is now seeking an Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative in Wixom for a direct-hire opportunity!

This hybrid role combines customer service and consultative inside sales to help customers find the right sealing solutions for their applications. You will work closely with engineers, maintenance teams, and purchasing managers, providing product guidance while delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order Management
-Respond to inbound calls, emails, web chats, sales leads, and quote requests; convert inquiries into customer orders.
-Accurately enter and process customer orders in a timely manner.
-Review the daily order backlog to ensure accuracy and provide customers with status updates or changes.
-Provide pricing, product availability, order acknowledgements, delivery details, and general account support.
-Handle returns, resolve issues, and collect customer feedback.
-Save and upload customer purchase orders and order acknowledgements to internal systems.
-Coordinate with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled as promised, including:
-Manufacturing: Communicate production or material delays when identified.
-Purchasing: Follow up on product availability and expedite orders when needed.
-Finance: Resolve billing or account issues.
-Quality: Address and resolve customer quality concerns.
-Sales: Support Regional Sales Managers with quotes, pricing, lead times, and customer updates.

Inside Sales & Business Development
-Proactively follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
-Reach out to dormant accounts and prospect new customers.
-Prepare and present quotes and proposals.
Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information in the CRM system.
-Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
-Collaborate regularly with sales and commercial teams.

Technical Support & Product Knowledge
-Complete product and technical training with engineering and commercial teams.
-Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate sealing solutions, including materials, sizes, and configurations.
-Assist with seal selection, technical specifications, and competitor part cross-references.
-Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and new sealing technologies.

Salary range is $48-$55/k. Schedule is 1st shift - 8:00am - 5:00pm onsite.

Education & Experience
-High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-2+ years of experience in inside sales, manufacturing, industrial fluid power, customer service, or a related field.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
-Strong ability to balance sales goals with excellent customer service.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
-Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficiency with ERP systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office.
-Fluid power experience is a plus, but not required.
