Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Process Engineer for a Manufacturing plant in Sibley!

Annual salary is $90,000–$100,000/year.

As a Process Engineer, you’ll serve as a key technical resource for plant operations, leading process improvements, troubleshooting production challenges, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across all shifts.

What You’ll Do
-Lead and manage process improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and cost savings.
-Troubleshoot daily production and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions in partnership with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
-Establish, document, and standardize equipment setup, run parameters, changeovers, and maintenance intervals.
-Develop and deliver training to operators, supervisors, and technical staff to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
-Write, execute, analyze, and report on process validations to support standardization and continuous improvement.
-Build business cases, ROI analyses, and capital requests for process and equipment improvements.
-Take a leadership role in safety initiatives, ensuring safety is always the top priority.
-Support Manufacturing in developing standard operating conditions with direct input from operators and supervisors.
-Assist Sales and Engineering with customer specifications and technical support as needed.
-Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, quality systems, and food safety requirements.
-Lead cross-functional projects involving management, maintenance, production, and engineering teams.

-Daily collaboration with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams
-Regular interaction with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations leadership
-Occasional customer-facing support

What We’re Looking For
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
-3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
-Strong understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement tools (SPC, Pareto charts, histograms, Lean Manufacturing)
-Solid mechanical, electrical, and process knowledge
-Proficiency with PC-based engineering and statistical analysis tools
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
-Flexibility to support operations across multiple shifts

Work Environment
-Combination of plant floor and office-based work
-Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions including noise, temperature variation, and PPE requirements
