Structural Welder
Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Structural Steel Welder for full-time work in Saginaw!
Schedule is 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Pay rate is $22 - $24/hr. based on experience.
Essential Job Functions
• Align and fit parts according to specifications.
• Tack weld components and assemble using specified welding equipment.
• Set up of welding machine in proper parameters of WPS
• Visually inspect welds for proper fusion and porosity, and under-cut
• Remove high spots, burrs and cut bevels, using hand files, portable grinders and cutting torches.
• Demonstrate understanding of weld symbols and applying them to the work piece

-Structural Steel Layout/fitters must have experience working with heavy structural steel and flux core
-Must be highly skilled in interpreting structural steel drawings and possess strong math skills.
-Qualified layout/fitters will be able to align and fit parts according to specifications.
