Structural Welder

Trillium Construction is seeking a Structural Welder for a project in Charlottesville, VA. 

Key Responsibilities
-Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
-Weld using Stick and MIG processes, mostly stick.
-Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel so that it can be lifted with slings.
-Use shears, rod-bending machines, torches, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld the structural and reinforcing iron and steel.
-Connect iron and steel with bolts, wire, or welds Install metal decking and cold form metal framing used in building construction.
-Working from heights, ladders, stairwell shafts, columns and beams 30 ft above working surface.

Pay rate is up to $30/hour. Schedule: Mon - Sat, 50h+ / week.
