Production Assistant

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Production / Manufacturing Assistant in Columbus, OH for a direct-hire or temp-to-hire opportunity!

Schedule is 1st Shift. Pay is $30–$32/hour or $62,000–$67,000 salaried (DOE).

Overview:
A Columbus-based manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Administrator to support daily plant operations. This role will provide administrative and coordination support to the Plant Manager and leadership team, ensuring efficient office and plant-related operations. This position is available as temp-to-perm or direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:
-Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus.
-Assist with new-hire onboarding and training schedule coordination
-Support weekly payroll processing and administrative tracking
-Coordinate with vendors and service providers
-Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
-Prepare and distribute internal communications and documentation
-Provide internal customer service support
-Order and manage office supplies and equipment
-Support general administrative and plant office functions as needed

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
-2–4 years of administrative experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
-High level of professionalism and communication skills
-Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced plant environment
