Administrative Assistant
Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to work in Peoria, IL.
Trillium is hiring an experienced Administrative Assistant to work for a local labor hall. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all administrative functions for the business.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
• Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones, directing calls, and greeting members and guests.
• Process payments for membership dues, death benefits, school fees, apparel sales, and miscellaneous charges.
• Manage financial tasks including weekly deposits, monthly cash sheets, ACH payments, and charging monthly dues and fees.
• Maintain accurate membership records, including processing new applications, transfers, classification changes, and initiating new members in the membership system.
• Communicate with members regarding delinquent accounts by sending statements and text notifications.
• Create and maintain records for traveling members and process related employment documentation.
• Compile, prepare, and distribute monthly, wage, benefit, and apprentice reports to contractors and applicable entities as directed.
• Maintain wage scales, apprentice wage determination tables, and historical wage and benefit records.
• Assist with updating agreements and distributing notices of changes to members and contractors.
The Administrative Assistant is a 1st shift position, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm. This position is full time and temp-to-hire. Pay is $27.96/hour. Benefits and pension will be offered upon company hire.

Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in a receptionist, administrative, or office support role.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with contractors.
• Experience handling payments, deposits, and basic financial recordkeeping.
• Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and office software.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record maintenance.
